Better Your Productivity with this proven “Timer Trick”

Do you work on tasks at home or work that last longer than an hour? If so, you may want to pay attention to this “Timer Trick” that has been proven to increase productivity and make you better at what you are trying to accomplish.

The Timer Trick for being more productive

Studies have proven that when you plug away at tasks for too long, your brain isn’t as effective and you start to lose steam.

It’s proven for better productivity that you should take a break from what you are doing every 50-75 minutes

To be more productive and produce better, consider setting a timer for 50 minutes and taking a short break from what you are doing. I’ve heard anywhere from 50-75 minutes is key for needing to take a break and refresh your mind, but I personally like the 50-minute range.

This can be tricky if you feel like your creative juices are just beginning to flow, but it doesn’t have to be a long break. Take a walk around your house/building, go get the mail, or simply take a drink/bathroom break.

What tips do you have for being more productive?

This simple timer trick will help you perform better at whatever you are trying to accomplish
